It only means you're one year closer to your demise. It'd be foolish to celebrate it, unless you're a death seeker. I'm guessing not.

Hard to say. It could pose a problem in the future. Overpopulation, resources being used up--plants being used up. Not to mention there's seemingly no certain way to rid of the people I might want to see gone.
