[This is not Loz’s phone. He knows it’s not, because it doesn’t have the little gash in the screen from when the Turk lady threw it to try and keep Loz from taking it. It LOOKS like his phone, but it’s not. So he’s just staring at it for a moment before he starts messing with the buttons. These look a little different, light up when they didn’t

[Kadaj? That was the name Yaha mentioned a few moments ago...]

Your Kadaj is here somewhere. I do not know about the other one.

[Such odd names... but he's one to talk.]

[Oh hey the little not-his-phone thing is talking to him. Maybe it is a phone! But he doesn't recognize the voice over the line at all, and that earns a frown.]

We're all here. We were supposed to go together, we're all here. Gotta be.

[It's stated with almost childish certainty, just slightly petulant.]

Who're you?

Nobody intends to come to this place. This is Siren's Port. It brings us all unwillingly.

[The tone raises an eyebrow, but he makes no comment as to it.]

...that's a really stupid name, guy.

[This is a welcome distraction.]

[Oh, there you are. Yazoo's first thought before even remembering the NV was to reach out to touch his brother's mind. But eventually, he speaks.]

Brother.

[Loz gets the mental brush long before Yazoo's voice, and it makes him feel significantly better. He KNEW they were here, he could feel it--but actually hearing one of his brothers speak makes the anxiety of suddenly being separated flicker out in an instant.]

Yazoo!

[He sounds elated.]

Knew you were here--where are you? Are you okay?

[Because last he knew they were both kind of dissolving and dying and exploding. And that wasn't fun at all.]

Loz. [He was glad to feel the other as well, like he had been put back together again, as much of a whole as they could achieve like this. Yazoo closes his eyes in a lethargic blink before opening them again, a few moments passing before he replied again, unhurriedly.]

We are fine, at the Sector Six Church.

[He remembers that moment as well, the two of them leaving to join their brother.] I'll come get you.

[It was better that he did, after all. Kadaj would merely be cross at how late the other was.]

Sector six? That's--

[You can't see it, but he's turning around. And turning and turning, until he can feel the direction Yazoo is coming from.]

This way.

...I'll wait here.

So you're the third brother, huh.

[Beat.]

[Silver hair, green eyes, what the heck?]

'R you one of us? You look like one of us.

[Hopefully Loz is somewhat ready for the sudden rush of surprise and frustration and childish anger and maybe just a little bit of relief that swamps his mind the moment his voice is heard on the network. It's almost suffocating.]

Brother. [He sounds irritable, when he finally replies.] You're late.

[voice]

[argentstrength]

[Yeah, no, that earns some nice internal keymashing for a second, and the only mental response Kadaj will get is a nice mess of roiling confusion and shock, although Loz does have the clarity of thought to at least OFFER a response.]

'M not late!

[He sounds almost hurt, a little incredulous.]

I was fighting Big Brother, 'm not late.

[voice]

[argentcruelty]

We waited for you. [And Kadaj had sworn he would make Loz cry when he finally arrived. Not that that was a difficult thing to achieve.]

We were supposed to be together, but you-

[His voice is taut, as though he were holding back an outburst of emotion. Whether it was anger at how long it had taken Loz to arrive, or some kind of happiness at finally being as close to completion as they would ever be without becoming Sephiroth, was anyone's guess. Loz may be able to sense it; the two conflicting so that Kadaj didn't seem to know whether to lash out or... well, jump for joy.]

[voice]

I didn't...mean to be late?

I promise I didn't!

[There's that whine, like he's just on the edge of about-to-cry.]

I didn't wanna be late.

voice;

Great, another one.

[And he smells like them too.]

Your brothers are by the church.

That's what Yazoo said!

[Paaauuuse.]

There are a lot of people here, huh.

Yeah, the city's pretty populated. People like you stand out pretty easily.

[He's such a hypocrite, but, whatevs, whatevs.]

[So proud. And, while he's waiting for Yazoo to come get him, he'll make conversation. Okay so he would anyway, Loz is actually a pretty social creature, but he has an excuse this time!]
