[Video] [Fourth entry, July 26th]
[The video feed clicks on to show an angle of the floor of what looks to be some empty building. It's obviously well into the darkness- into that awkward late-night/early-morning area, probably an hour or two before the morning sirens. A man off-screen can be heard breathing heavily, as though to catch his breath, but a second speaks.]
I feel like we need to do a victory dance.
[There is a confused noise from the first man-- as the NV is moved, the bottom half of Yosuke can be seen gesturing.]
C'mon! Dance with me, Shinji, look at what we took down! [His legs can be seen walking in a sort of circle as he makes some sort of triumphant fanare noise.] Bah-nah-nah-naah nuh-nuh naah-nah-naaah!
Shut up. I've got the damn camera on.
[The NV moves again, this time to show some sort of beast lying on its side. All four legs have been bound together, and though many of the tentacles on the rope-faced dog's snout have been severed, the rest are all bound tightly together in multiple places. It's bloodied in a few places, but obviously still alive by the occasional movement. After a moment Shinjiro speaks, this time directed at the NV.]
Gotta monster that's still alive. Anyone want it--
[But Yosuke interrupts.]
Come on, celebrate with me here! That thing even snuck up on us and we still took it out!
Yosuke, shut--
It's like taking out a level 20 boss at like level 1! We're awesome! [At this, Yosuke walks into the video feed again, holding up a hand for a Hi-5.]
... [Shinjiro lets out an annoyed growl.] Can you shut up for five seconds?
Hey, don't leave me hanging--
Whatever. The monster's still alive, someone tell me if you want it. [A pause.] So Yosuke, this why your date with Kirijo failed?
