[Today, Light looks much better. He exudes confidence, is tidier, looking ruthlessly into the camera. Something of a smile curves his lips, even if it doesn't reach his eyes. We shouldn't trouble superiors with anything petty. If someone's taken a commanding position, it's best to let them keep their schedule unless a disruption is sorely needed, and that usually involves the status of their safety. [Firm. 'Don't bother him unless you're going to save his life.']

I'm coming in with different experiences. Listen, just because I'm not a soldier doesn't mean I'm utterly useless, you know. I have no interest in war or violence, and no intention of becoming one of his pet projects. This is personal, nothing more than that.

I'm not telling you to go out and assassinate anyone, geeze. And pet projects is a stupid way to put it. If you need to learn how to defend yourself, I can help with it, but I need to know if you have any knowledge in the area at all yet. That's all.

We'll work out a schedule, then. You oughtta start doing stretches each morning. Or night. Or both. It'll be good for you. I learned how to use a gun before I learned hand to hand, so this might be a little tricky at first, but I'm not going to crush you or anything.

You're not self conscious at all, are you? If anything, I think it's more frightening what you might grow up into, but I'm not particularly good with strong women.
