It's definitely on. [he looks a bit awkward, too, but trying to be helpful.] Where was where you were trying to be? Cocoon...?

[have a bit of a jump- the machine was suddenly talking at him! Wait no, it was actually on. Damnit.

Awkward time.] Yeah, noticed that. [And a pause.] Cocoon? You know, Cocoon? You're ah- you're not from Pulse are you?

[gaining a bit of your awkward, but not a lot.]

I'm from... Banten, actually. Japan. I've never heard of Pulse before-- where's that?

Japan? [Have a pause and a serious expression as he ponders. It's a little ruined by the chocobo peeking out of his hair.]

It's- that greeter guy, he said w were "taken," taken from our worlds. That can't be true, it's, well, it's nuts.

... It's really crazy, but... it's true. There's people from entirely different planets-- like, ah, us, I think.

[looking off to the side, but glancing back to catch sight of that chocobo. widening eyes.]

But there's some definite perks. I don't know what sort of bird that is, for example.

Huh? Who, this guy? [And the chocobo flutters onto screen, chirping.] A chocobo- apparently a lotta you folks don't know about them. You know, big birds, long legs, long necks, used for transportation?

[And the chick chirps pointedly at him. Sazh gives it a look.] What- oh right. Name's Sazh, Sazh Katzroy. You really believe this other world bit? [he's genuinely curious. Honestly he's seen enough weird shit not to be too adverse to the idea.]

All I know that fits that description is an ostrich. [looking rather interested, though. tilting his head to the side at the chirping.]

Kouichi Aizawa, Mister Sazh. It's nice to meet you, and your friend...? [pause.] I can't help but believe it, really. You've never heard of Japan, have you?

Ostrich? [The chick chirps again.] Hey, at least he isn't calling you a chicken.

[have a nod in greeting.] Nice to meet you there, Kouichi. Er, I just call him chocobo. [Naming, ffft.] Can't say I have heard of it, is it a city around here?
