[After his brief reprieve at the hospital - thankfully more comfortable thanks to Edgeworth's diligence - Light is being held at the police station until he's answered their questions. But this morning's news...]
Call me paranoid if you like but... the police here really aren't up to scratch, are they? They're holding me prisoner, so how exactly am I supposed to have accidentally left the stove on?

Miss Maki -- if it isn't too much trouble, would you mind looking into the explosion at my appartment? I can't rely on information from the news, and I know you have experience with looking at even the most complicated of clues.
[He considers for a moment, then creates another filter, this time to Beyond Birthday, again difficult to hack.]
Are you responsible for this? Explosions seem a little sloppy for you, considering.
