Earlier, I was sitting by the window. I'd left it open. I don't like it when the sun is bright, but it was all right for the time being

[ Sitting wittttth, because, Hello :c he probably follows you around just as much as Odango follows him around now. Puppyharu.
Wherever Yoite is, Miharu is definitely close by, legs curled in, sleepy-snorty thing knocked out in his lap with bitty snot bubbles. One hand is idly rubbing teeny puppy ear. ]
[ A nod. A little, almost-not-there smile, too. It hurts. Even the tiniest quirk of his lips like that. And that it hurts makes him feel selfish. He should be able to smile without strain for Yoite, especially now. But he wasn't practiced in the art of 'everything will be okay!', it was 'don't care.' Largely different. ]
They should be outside and going where they want, not stuck inside somewhere. It's lazy to collect them for money. [ And greedy, but ah, that's not really important. ]
I'm lazy now, [he admits. And also stuck inside somewhere, but that's largely a nonissue. Slight expression in Miharu's face manages to be processed by Yoite's eyes. Butterflies, but in his throat. It's a relief, somehow.]
[ Miharu's hands go between stillness ( folded over the pug's back ) and rubbing short furred sides or rubbing tiny ears again. He doesn't say anything, but he looks over, alert. ]
[The movements of those thin hands are being tracked closely, now. They're what Yoite focuses on. He's aware of Miharu's attention because he's aware of Miharu as a whole, right now, even if he doesn't look up.]
When I fell asleep earlier, I dreamed, even if it wasn't a deep sleep.
[It makes him look up to Miharu's face, and he doesn't like it. He wants to nudge a little knee with his fingers, but doesn't know if he should.] Miharu.
Yes? It sounds like a nice dream. They're good for shade and things like that. Also, I guess, they help us breathe better. Trees are good things, they're good things.

It's good that it found its own way out, though.

... It's harder to recall a dream once you're actually trying.

'You can grow trees.''
'Mn.'
'Maybe if you grew enough of them-'
'Be quiet right now.'
'-right now, with "nice leaves"-'
'Quiet. Quiet. Quiet.'
'he'll ask you, "Miharu, help me stay."'
'Quiet. Quiet. Quiet.'
Hands on ears. Fingers in hair. Unsteady breathing. ]
