Earlier, I was sitting by the window. I'd left it open. I don't like it when the sun is bright, but it was all right for the time being.
A butterfly came in. I'd heard that they were around the city, but I haven't been going out much. So, I've never really seen butterflies very closely. Only from a distance.
It moved quickly, and it was colorful. It was... pleasant. [Instead of pretty. That'd be embarrassing to say.] I don't think it realized that it could go right back out the window.
Eventually it did, though. I considered catching it; they're worth money, aren't they? And that would have been good.
[Simple shrug.]
I didn't catch it. It was really small, and easily crushed. So I decided to leave it alone. I figure that's sort of strange.
[Closed eyes. What is this slight expression...]
But not unpleasant. The sun seems less bright, too, so it's not bad, sitting by the window.
Nighttime used to be really nice. Now it's less favorable. Before, I'd been irritable about things like that. Now, not so much.
I think people should be more like butterflies.
