Breakthrough in Robotics Revealed by SERO
In a press conference this morning held by SERO senior executives, a robot was revealed today that will forever revolutionize the robotics industry. Named the CY-N1N, these robots act and move exactly as humans do, with a fluidity that has not been seen in robots before now.

[There is a video attached of a humanoid robot, covered head to foot in what can only be described as light battle armor, moving and interacting with reporters during the afore mentioned press conference as if it were a human being. Also in the video is one of the SERO senior executives... and Szayel, who naturally, looks beyond smug.]

The robots were developed by SERO scientist and Newcomer, Szayel Aporro Granz. The first models shown here were designed for light combat and guard duty, and are programmed to kill Darkness monsters, while protecting humans. In addition, Mr. Granz later confirmed during an interview that newer models will be built around a customer's specific needs.

"The CY-N1N are designed to be adaptive and versatile," Mr. Granz told reporters. "It will be beneficial to everyone to own one once they are available on the public market, if only to be able to go out at night again without fear of the darkness."

If you wish to purchase a CY-N1N now, the price is $1 million per unit. There is no word yet when the price will go down, nor when a public model will be made available for purchase. It is already being rumored that Siren's Port Police Department is considering commissioning SERO for several of these units, but no word yet on how valid this rumor is.

[[ooc; The CY-N1Ns will be "mysteriously" leaked to the black market starting Sunday, January 8th. Those that want one (and could afford the black market price tag) are more than welcome to purchase one. Keep in mind that these will be out to kill everyone later in the month.]]

More Body Parts, No Clues
Police are continuing to find scattered body parts of the persons that disappeared during the month of October. Meanwhile, a memorial service for those that disappeared is scheduled to be held at City Hall next Saturday, January 14th, in honor of those that were found, some of which have still not been identified. SPPD refuses to comment, fearing revealing too many details of the case will inspire copycats to repeat the crime.
