I don't see much traffic there, which is fine, but I think we can put it to good use in the coming year. Call it a resolution, I guess ( Read more... )

I agree regarding the classes, particularly the first aid. There's a lot that comes to the hospital that could be taken care of at home. Generally there's no problem in that but if something more serious were to occur? It could take up valuable space and time that could be directed elsewhere.

How is your cat doing, and the kittens? [ She wants to check them out really, just on the safe side. And she's telling herself that she doesn't need to adopt another... ]

[She nods.]

Right, that's a good point. I think I know a few people who would be willing to teach it.

[She pauses.]

They're fine. I had someone come in to check up on them and they said they were all very healthy. The mother's been well taken care of.

If you need any additional help with it I'd be willing to do so.

[ Too much time on her hands

And she gives a smile at that ]

I'm glad for that. Were you there when they were born?

I'd appreciate it, Helen. Could you teach one of the first aid classes, maybe?

[She frowns, glancing back at her furry friends who are conveniently off camera.]

Walked in just as she was finishing.

I'd be glad to.

At least she was safe. [ She'd found Liquid's cat outside not long before her birth had occurred ]

Thanks. I'll put you down as a teacher.

[She shrugs.]

Yeah, that's true. It was after dark when I got in and found them. She'd have been killed.

Was there any chance that she could have gotten out?

[ Frown. You just said she was yours ] Then you're even luckier.

Yeah, I guess. Ergo likes her too much. I don't think he'd let anything happen to her. I wish I knew who her owners are. She's well fed and well taken care of so she can't be a stray.

Perhaps asking those that live near to you or placing her picture on te network could allude to that? [ Unless she wasn't a newcomer's cat ]

True enough. Hopefully it's just a neighbor's cat.

If she's gotten out before they may have yet to realise that she's missing, sadly. [ Especially if they were also out ] I wish you luck.
