Now that most of the holidays have passed - and we have one asshole behind bars - I want to discuss with the network at large the idea of using the Newcomer Community Center more often. Teaching fighting techniques to people outside my village could be considered treasonous, back where I come from. It's because secrets are usually what determine a victory, so you never want an enemy to know what you can do. It sounds stupid, worrying about something like that for a simple self-defense class, but that's just the word of the law.

It's...understandable, but I'm not asking for tricks. I just want people to understand how to get away if someone grabs them, or how to get out of a hold. Simple stuff, like what they teach at the station.
