Hope this things on... damn technology these days...
[He pauses, almost as if he's not sure how to word this properly.]
Reckon I got two reasons for gettin' on the Network. First is the news 'bout Miss Lockheart. [He shifts a bit uncomfortably in his seat for a bit.] She didn't deserve what she got, no way no how. She was a strong gal. Got a real good head on her shoulders. Sad to say, SPPD's officially closed the case. There ain't nothin' us Newcomer police officers can do about it... officially. [Yes, he's heavily implying something here.]
Second reason is... I've been thinkin'. About that case I closed up, the Green murders. I been told 'bout gainin' powers from bein' here. Hell, even seen 'em, but I can't say I ever suspected I'd get some fer myself. [Another pause, as he mulls it over.] I still ain't sure what happened, er even why er how it happened. But when I touched that doll lil' Cindy'd left behind, I saw what'd happened. And I even heard the killer, her brother, confessed to doin 'zactly what I said he'd done, 'fore we even knew he'd done it. And I think, with my powers "active" now, I might be able to help with cases where there ain't much to go on. [Another heavy implication.] Not official-like - I wouldn't be helpin' as Detective Marshall, but I'd be helpin' as Jake. An' I reckon, long as I work on improvin' 'em, maybe with the help of somebody who knows more 'bout powers than I do, that maybe it'll be easier to solve 'em. Can't say I can make any promises, but I'd sure be willin' to try, and to help iff'n I can.
So I gotta few questions to end this: anybody know how to improve someone's powers... and has anybody got some sorta trouble they might need helpin' with?

And if anyone is unofficially working on Tifa's murder case, Jake is more than willing to help (with discretion of the mods, of course). I am still also backtagging things, so please, bear with me.
