fifteenth date; [video; the case of the hotdog thief]
[Larry has set up a folding picnic table in his backyard. On the wooden surface are sheets of paper in just about every color imaginable, a pair of scissors, a bottle of glue, and cereal boxes all cut up into cardboard strips. There are boxes that are still intact though, of different sizes, as well as a small cup of beads and ribbons and other colorful knickknacks.
Off to one side, so close to the edge of the table that it could fall off, is a plate with a half-eaten hotdog sandwich. Or rather, three-quarters of it has gone. He doesn't seem to notice something furry and black walking toward it.]
Okay! Since I was an actor once and all and I've gone back to being an artist, I'm gonna start my own TV show! Only not really, 'cause it'll just be all over everyone's NVs. I'll call it "Larry's Art-a-Thon"! Or maybe "The Art-Tastic Larry", or "The Great Butzdini"!
[He picks up one of the sheets of paper, completely oblivious to the furry black something leaping up stealthily onto the other end of his bench and sitting up so its pointed ears, the top of its head and its glinting green eyes are visible to anyone watching the transmission.] Anyway, this first episode's gonna be about origami and how to - hey!
[His words are cut short when the thin, clearly hungry kitten finally jumps onto the table and snatches up the last of the hotdog. Only the hotdog, mind; the bun is left intact as it carries its prize in its mouth and then takes off. Larry scrambles after it, leaving all his art materials on the table, and while you are staring at a lovely view of the grassy backyard (that could use a few flowers and such), you can listen to him running across the grass and yelling.]
How'd you get in here again?! Aw man, stop stealing my snacks!
[Replies will ICly come after several minutes. It's gonna take a while for Larry to come back after chasing that kitten. Eventually he might decide to keep it around when he realizes it's futile to keep it out of his yard.]
