- Wingman Takes One For The Team
In a breaking news story, the aspiring vigilante Henry Silver (better known as 'Wingman'), who has made news headlines several times in the past few weeks, was found beaten up in an alleyway after an anonymous tipoff call to the SPPD. He was later arrested for previous property damages in his pursuit of criminal justice, and was brought to the Sector 4 Station.

St. Matthew herself later bailed 'Wingman' out from her personal account over the phone, sending apologies to the unmasked man after she confirmed the situation with police. Wingman had been in hot pursuit of an anonymous bounty hunter’s contracted bounty, and that hunter took it upon himself to decommission his unregistered rival. St. Matthew is currently making arrangements to tighten policy against the collateral harm of civilians or SPPD also in pursuit of contracted marks.

A representative of the bounty coordinator later spoke to Silver at Mugshots, the bar across the street from the stationhouse. By this time, the media was filling the crowded cop bar, and caught word of reform to the bounty system. Several rumors have been confirmed, that St. Matthew has been meeting with both Police Chief Miller and Governor Townshed via video conference since last week’s network leak threatened disclosure and security of the bounty industry.

Reporters caught a word with a very bruised and tired Wingman shortly afterward. The 29 year old SPU grad with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts, and has the rather un-super power of making people around him inclined to fall in love (but never with him!). He works a day job for the Siren’s Port Main Branch Postal Office and additionally runs his own singing telegram service every Valentine’s Day. It seems that Wingman can’t fly, and tells us he’s sad to return to being a regular guy, but hopes that other vigilantes will take up the noble cause.

"I’ve just been trying to make a difference! A True Wingman always takes one for the team- that’s what I’ve been trying to do. Guess at the end of the day I’m no real hero, though. Just your average bro."

- Felton Stage Announces New Controversial Production
An original rock opera, The Answer, is currently in stage production at the Felton Theatre, the final show of the 2011 season before Felton’s Annual Holiday Extravaganza production. The writer, the young and multi-talented Hawthorne University student Micheal Angelo Felton, grandson of the theatre’s founder, will also be guest-directing with complete artistic control of the debuting work as a part of his senior thesis in Theatre Arts.

After reviewing the script, one of his professors expressed his concerns about how the modern musical will be received by the public. "Set within Siren’s Port, contains several heavy themes, including drug use, sex, and a suicide pact to meet out in the Darkness. The main cast includes five troubled high-school characters, who (according to casting rumors) will be portrayed by accurately-aged adolescent singers."

The Answer will be opening for a two week run, starting on December 1st.
