[It's a true, bonafide mystery!]
[Like where left socks go. Or why sheep don't shrink after it rains. Only this particular mystery is a door in Sora's apartment- one that's been closed since Halloween, and none of his roommates-neither Kairi nor Riku nor Ritsuka- knows what's behind it. Now that most of the apartment's been emptied in the move, Sora just can't stop thinking about it. Can't stop standing in front of it, arms crossed and foot tap-tap-tapping, wondering what's inside.]
[Hmmm... It's not locked. Sora knows for sure: he has a rather useful magical giant key that solves those sorts of problems quick. No locked doors or chests ever get in his way. So it's probably lodged shut somehow. There might even be something resting against the doorknob just the right way to keep it from opening.]
[There's probably one, elegant solution somewhere, some logical train of thought that will conveniently solve this puzzling mystery in one fell swoop. But because it's Sora we're talking here, he never ends up finding it. Sora's solution for this is pretty much how he solves computer problems: If it ain't working, bang on it until it does something useful.]
[Which is what the NV finally wakes up to, jostled on the moment the door finally flies open. If you've ever seen someone overtaken by a wave, that's pretty much what Sora looks like when a flood of what appears to be Christmas presents (piled right up to the ceiling) topples over and nearly overtakes him. The screen is filled from end to end with red and green and frilly multicolored ribbon.]
[When Sora manages to trudge back through the wrapped boxes, two long lists on parchment at the top of the pile come unraveling, rolling to a stop at Sora's feet. He picks it up and realizes as he reads a couple of items off the list out loud: These are... names?]
No way... Is this what I think it is?
[ooc: Guess who was Santa for the Halloween event and doesn't remember a thing: That's right. Sora. Say the word and Sora's likely to sift through the presents to anyone who asks, because who knows: Maybe there's one for you too?
