[Blaine turns on his NV and is distracted by something in the background, as his eyes glance towards where Kurt is on the couch, before he turns his attention to the device in his hands. He’s pretty bummed to be back here too, but he’s trying to hide it. It’s easier to be pleasant even if he feels exhausted.]

Hey guys. The newspaper says that Kurt and I have been gone for a couple of days. [Though much more time has passed for him, which is confusing but he’ll go with it.] We’re back now. The apartment is still here so we’re checking everything and closing it up before the Darkness hits.

[He pauses, sighs, expressing a bit of his emotion in the sound.]

Do we still have jobs?

[Kurt rolls his eyes, curling his knees up to his chest, arms crossed as he sulks.] I'm sure everything's fine, Blaine. Our apartment and our shitty luck are very much intact.

[Blaine makes a soft, vaguely amused sound that might have a tint of bitterness in it. He pulls the NV away for a moment but doesn’t turn it off. Instead there’s a nice view of the carpet as he says softly.]

We’re still together. That’s lucky enough for me.
