Alois Trancy drops into the seat in front of the camera, then, pink-cheeked and plenty glad.] Hello, [he chirps over his muffler, which is crocheted in lavender, and very soft-looking. His coat is dark purple, instead, and lined with black fur at the neck and the cuffs (and, unseen, at the bottom hems), and when he lifts one of his hands, the frill of a poet's sleeve can be seen peeking from it.
And then there's the ring on the fourth finger of his left hand, which he's clearly showing off.] Isn't it pretty? [he asks; it is. It's a gold band set with a nice sapphire, and diamonds on either side of it. It's also his pride and joy.] It is, right? It was a birthday present! [Betrothal present.] Well, of sorts. [Quick giggle.] But! Today I woke and then I felt bad that no one was getting such lovely presents as myself. So I think it's a good idea to... Ah, here! [A moment of bending, and then he hefts a black briefcase up onto the cafe table in front of himself.] I got a little extra and I'm not using it, so... the city can have it! Whomever picks it up first, am I right? But don't be too frantic, because there'll be plenty! [To demonstrate, he clicks open the briefcase so that everyone can see the RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF MONEY that's inside.
Seriously, it's a lot of money.]
