Death in our own world or death here?

It isn't fun, so I'm told. I've never actually tried it past my initial death to cast me into the afterlife. Not in my itinerary.

You should ask the Winchesters. They wear 'dying' like it's going out of style and they need one last showing before the new fall collection.

Any particular individual? [ She's only met Mary ]

[Have a teenager covered in an almost obscene amount of sapphire colored tattoos, looking incredibly thoughtful. Then she speaks, slowly and carefully.]

I haven't... died, exactly. Back home, anyway. I haven't done anything close to dying here. Yet.

[And hopefully never.]

But back home, my soul shattered and I spent a lot of time in Otherworld. It was almost like dying but never quite like it...

From what Stark and everyone told me when I came back, if a soul isn't pulled back together, the person becomes a Caoinic Shi... The body will die but they become a being that will never know rest.

You forget things, you lose focus, can't think. You just wander.

[ Grell has, himself, died at Siren's Port. ]

It's a living.

[ But he views this as a professional embarrassment, so good luck getting him to admit it! ]

A living? How so?

[ A little shrug ]

Punch the clock, write reports, judge the humans, reap their souls.
