It doesn't really change anything I suppose, but it would be nice to know for sure wouldn't it? It would make the whole "coming back to life" thing make more sense. Almost like having free lives or extra quarters.

Well it might be worth listening to what he has to say - but if you want to know you should ask him yourself. I don't think I should really talk about his history without permission.

A game wouldn't be so bad. Better than some other reasons.

I agree, it could be a lot worse then a game. Could even just be to gather data on something.

[Tifa misses the pause, making a thoughtful noise.] Or a prison. People could live out their whole lives with no want to escape since they don't know they're imprisoned. For what crimes though? I'm no angel, but some of the people here are just children.

I dunno... maybe it's something like where who you are on the outside doesn't match up where you are on the inside. Who knows. They could do anything.

Shikamaru and I aren't close, but I've known more than one decent person who lands doing horrible things and doesn't have much recourse.

I was there when he came and took Sam. Completely paralyzed, unable to move, speak or do anything to stop my boss and friend from being kidnapped right in front of my eyes. It was utter helplessness, like I haven't felt since...[She takes in a deep breath through her nose.]...since Sephiroth and Nibelheim.
