[ This afternoon finds Helen in her kitchen, NV on the counter as she prepares a meal ]

It's certainly been quite an eventful few weeks, along the months prior to that. [ She's no exception to that either. Attacked, infected by the recent virus and then overtime with the EMP... ] I hope that any whom has been recently affect, be it from the virus ( Read more... )

Who sent you the rose, do you know?

No, there was no name nor note left with it.

[She wasn't exactly going to say anything. Maybe a little greeting as the woman did help her during that sleepless period. But her eyes are pretty much stuck on that rose.]

Is that... blood?

Why would someone deliver something like that?

That I cannot answer, nor do I know who delivered it.

[ Well, at least the rose lacks maggots. Already having experience with this sort of behaviour - though, she was more of a bystander in Prue's dilemma - Piper frowns and is more concerned than she lets on. Prue's dead flowers ended up with her temporarily blind and almost killed at gunpoint. Piper can only hope that this is some ill Halloween prank.

So when she comes into the kitchen, expecting to hear Helen give advice she clearly doesn't follow herself, Piper's a bit shocked at how quickly her professional demeanor is shaken. ]

Secret admirer leave a card with an address, by chance?

[ Gonna blow the bitch up. ]

Not one that has proven obvious. [ Well it wasn't on the top of the box or inside... she got a little distracted by its contents to check any further.

Turning the rose over in her hands Helen wipes a little of the blood off with her finger, examining it closely to check that it is actually blood before collecting some more onto a tissue - she'd be examining that at the clinic later ]

[ If only Piper had a map and crystal, she'd scry - if it was blood from a human. And, for some miracle, it'd be the blood of the sender. Piper's not too relieved by that answer. ] You might want to keep a closer eye on the people you come in contact with. [ Obvious statement of the year, but, keeping a log of those you talk to once and those you talk to a lot would narrow things down. She's not regular Nancy Drew, but Piper's gotten the hang of demon hunting. She's learned a few things. ]

Is this the first time you've received this? [ Piper doesn't do much during the day, anyway. She's going to kick herself if she's missed this. ]

And a suggestion of how to go about that? I can't simply be weary of everyone I pass in the street. [ And at the clinic and hospital she had other concerns than wondering whether someone would send her a gift, not that she'd had any complaints ]

It is. Although there is still the possibility that it was misdelivered. [ Just because it landed outside her door doesn't mean it was for her... not that she really believes that ]

Just the delivery and no signs of whom had left it.
