[She wasn't exactly going to say anything. Maybe a little greeting as the woman did help her during that sleepless period. But her eyes are pretty much stuck on that rose.]

Is that... blood?

I do believe so. [ She's studying it rather closely ]

Why would someone deliver something like that?

That I cannot answer, nor do I know who delivered it.

Roses are... [She looks almost a little frustrated.] Aren't they supposed to mean something romantic?

A rose can have any number of symbolic meanings, depending on the culture.

Like what? [She's not fond of them, but she's curious now.]

They are entwined in luck, blessings, prevention against spirits, for example.

A bloodied one doesn't seem so lucky though...

I hope it doesn't mean anything bad.

No, it doesn't.

As do I. I'm hoping to find out the source of the blood. Perhaps that may give me somewhere to turn
