It's tough to tell in the dim light, but his skin is immensely pale, even for a vampire's. The brightest light in the cell comes from his eyes, glowing blood red even brighter than usual

It is not that she relies on me so much that there are very few options for us.

I think she has not been eating since I was arrested.

Human blood. I am currently imprisoned due to my attempts to maintain it.

Protection, help, financial aid if she relies on you for that, too. You know her better than I do, presumably so I leave suggestions open to you. I sympathise with her situation.

Amy is more than capable of protecting herself. I expect she will not accept help from most people.

If you should see fit to reach out to her, perhaps she would accept your offer of aid. She is a shy girl and does not trust most people. It would be up to her judgment of you.

I will keep an eye out, although, her being able to visit you, I doubt there is much else I can offer.
