Listen up! All of you.

I'm going to talk to you a little about something important that few people think of. Security!

...don't turn off your NVs. I know some of you are reaching for it. Just listen.

There are more things than just Darkness monsters that you should co-ordinate your security to deal with. Burglars, assassin's, idiots who like to break into houses and murder people - or worse. You should treat your home as you would treat a military base. Make it a paragon of security.

Now listen closely. I won't repeat this.

Not everyone can afford armed security cameras, or alarmed lasers. And if you have pets, they can be quite a dangerous indulgence. So I would advise seeking better methods. Firstly, set aside an area in your entranceway or around your windows and cover it with squeaking sand. If you don't have pets or small children, put traps underneath it. If you do, then either do it but place a guard rail around it, thus barring entrance regardless, or try different methods. Barring the windows, double or triple locking the doors. Perhaps indulge in a security alarm for the doors. Or an emergency button to alert the police should there be an intruder.

IF you do have the option, I would advise setting up a second door in your entranceway. Inbetween the first and the second, making sure there are ways to barricade the door utterly, I'd advise indulging in a guard pet. Deadly poisonous Zanzibar hamsters are a good option, albeit rare in these times. Speaking of which, I would very much like to hear from anyone - except the Joker - who owns one. In private, if you may. Dogs might also be another option for defence. Or see if you can acquire wolfdogs.

Perhaps you may wish to indulge yourself by creating a pit or three and getting trapdoors installed over them. Remember to mark them clearly on a map of the house so that you can avoid falling through yourself. And lastly, as a last resort, there is also the option of offering free or reduced rent in exchange for someone living with you and defending you.

If nothing else, do think of your safety. You never know when trouble might walk in on you. I hope I've at least gotten some of you to think.
