[ the video turns on to a view of a boot, one that's not much bigger than a child's-- save for the tall heel and the somewhat more broad toe section. the boot is empty, and it's being held by the white rabbit, who's peering into it critically. he turns it this way and that before finally turning it completely upside down to peer down at the worn-out tread.
he finally huffs a sigh, dropping it to the side. it's apparent then that he's in his bedroom, seated on the bed with his feet drawn up on it. said feet are bare save for the stockings he usually wears, and though it's hard to tell because those stockings are black, there's something a little weird about his feet. --if you're paying attention, you'll be able to tell that they're shaped more like.. well, a rabbit's, with clawed toes and a very high arch and heel. he probably walks almost entirely on the pad of his foot, which is also likely why his boots are made the way they are.
he frowns into the screen, long ears flicking back and flattening. ]
I need new boots, and unfortunately, I don't think that I'm going to be able to find any with my particular specifications in a store. Any suggestions for shoe-makers would be appreciated.
[ he pulls one of his ears forward over his shoulder, smoothing the fingers down it in a grooming motion, the action almost absent as he considers what else he might want to say. ]
.. I've been here for a few months, now, and I have to say that I think things never slow down. Especially in this household. And while I'm sort of accustomed to that sort of thing, coming from Wonderland, I.. [ he falters slightly, fingers stilling against his ear, pink eyes sliding away from the screen. ] I was much more solitary there. .. When the game is 'kill the White Rabbit', you understandably keep to yourself for the most part. So all this bustle and noise-- [ an irritated grunt. ] Alois and the earl, really, though I suppose it's understandable.
