Depending on the time of day and location, you'll find him either in his wheelchair or on a pair of crutches that he's named "Ke$ha" and "Beezlebub ( Read more... )

[He scratches the back of his head, trying to access the scattered memories from his booze-soaked childhood.] Yeah. Dere was one I kinda remember, it had a guy dat hated some other douche bag, so he left him in a wine cellar to rot and die.

Yeah. [That's surprising.] The Cask of Amontillado.

That's... very literate.

[And then silence. He pats his knuckles against the couch a couple times and then changes the subject.] Dat's yer thing, huh? You read a lot of books 'bout death an' stuff?

Not- not specifically. I just read a lot. Coincidentally, the greats happen to write about death and morbid themes.

You should try Vonnegut sometime.

Don't say that Chuck!Icon. I liked your Impala monologue. D: drinkthebleach August 31 2011, 05:01:42 UTC
Heh, no kidding. It's like music, uhh, dat's what I did back home. [And it was easier for him to talk about music than literature.] You can have a bunch of songs 'bout like, goofin' off and wantin' to be wit' some girl. But you need songs 'bout hatred and blood. An' people gettin' their faces ripped off. Otherwise it's just crap. I dunno.

[Vonnegut?] What's dat? Some kind of liquor?

People identify most with the dark side of the human condition.

Dat's why it sells, I mean, metal an' dat guy's books. But I gotta say most people who are ready to admit dat are kinda, hmm. [What's the right word for this...] Angsting dildo lickers. [Like his fans.] Not everyone, though.

[Then Pickles sizes Chuck up a little bit.] You don't really look like de type who quotes dark poetry on a regular basis.

I could put on black eyeliner if that would make you more comfortable. But, honestly, I'm more the kind of guy who reads good poetry on a regular basis.

[He just ignores the second part, because he doesn't have anything to add to it, really.] Psht. Comfortable. I'd probably avoid you if you did dat. Fer guys, dat shit's only acceptable on stage.
