Hey, so I've heard rumors about people getting sick and seeing weird stuff around the Tower Apartments, near the baseball field.
People are saying it's like a new pollen allergy or something, that's what I heard at least, but I've got a pretty good other idea what that could be all about...and it's about time I took care of it. [There's almost a sound like worry, and a strange soft noise- almost like the whir of a hard boiled egg spun across a countertop. Someone's gloomy with concern about the state of his Soul Gem] He did say it was my duty, after all..and it's been a long time.
Anyway- so I want to hear from anybody who's had trouble, been sick- what was it like? Did it feel like you were being sucked into some weird place? Seeing weird things, colors? Like being on a club drug? (Not that I've ever done one of those, but- you know.) Did it make you feel really strange, or did anything try to attack you? Where exactly were you where it happened, if you can show me on a map.
...I should just go out and deal with it either way. Can't be too hard to find a witch.
So Graves, let the other kid DJing tonight take the first set, if I don't show on time. Or Ooe- you know how to do it, right? I'll try and get over there as quick as I can, but this is sort of important right now.
Also! Ah- before I forget! Sector Zero's entertainment is going back to themes! This Friday is Rumble in the Jungle night, I've got a tribal drumming group coming in for entertainment and they're awesome. Half-price cover at the door if you come wearing anything in jungle animal prints. Maybe Tifa'll whip up some near drink specials, jungle punch or something, but that's her territory, not mine.
...well really it should be Sam's territory, but...y'know. [There's a little mutter of disgust, eye-rolling dissapointment, maybe frustration.] Not Merlotte's anymore.
