Okay this is getting ridiculous - I've tried everything I can think of short of dunking my head in water, and I just can't seem to stop hiccuping. Ever since I woke up, actually. It's not like I've had anything spicy. I don't suppose anyone out there has a remedy for this sort of thing? [ Even telling herself to stop hiccuping didn't work. ]

Oh - before I forget, I've been helping my stepsister arrange a sort of ...social get together on the thirteenth, so that she can meet others in the Port. I've received some confirmations already from a few of you, but I also know I likely have forgotten to invite some people. But it's also open for anyone to come, invite or no invite, provided you can behave. [ This last with a teasing grin broken by a hiccup. She sighs. ]
