[The screen flickers on to reveal the face of a friendly old man. He seems to be relatively calm about everything all things considered. It isn't really so bad here, even if it gets kind of chaotic. A-at least, it's not bad before dark. Things kind of get a little crazy then.

The city is made by the people in it, these things are true wherever you go. There is always going to be a certain rhythm and feel to any city. It seems this one is made from people who are far different from one another, but that is common enough. [He strokes his beard thoughtfully. Cities all had certain similarities, the chaos of this city might rival that of Ba Sing Se]

Ah, you refer to the monsters and the darkness that plague the city at night? I have yet to experience them myself, but I have been told they are blobby, and some take different shapes.

There's a lot of different ones, though I've only seen a couple for myself. And that was a long time ago.

Just some observations I've made along life's journey.

Not a problem, I just like to know who I am talking to. It is a pleasure to meet you, Hal Emmerich. [Name seems a bit foreign on his tongue, but still pronounces it correctly]
