[As the video starts, Haruhi is putting the final touches on pulling on a costume that looks basically like this, pulling it together with a satisfied grunt. She nods to herself and then looks straight into the camera with a confident grin.]
Are you tired of ordinary, boring bars? And especially having the same old beers and vodkas and margaritas and stuff? Obviously, the answer is yes! Science has proven that if you keep drinking the same things over and over again, you're in danger of vicious hangovers and also cancer!
That's why you need both the bar and the drinks to be amazing! And I can personally promise you that you won't be disappointed if you come to Gearheads when I'm behind the bar. We have loads of awesome magic technology back here, which means I can make anything you can conceptualize and plenty of things that you can't!
[The thing is, it's quite possible that the magic technology in question is only magic because of her. At any rate, next, the camera zooms out, revealing her behind a classy steampunk-decorated bar. There's also a definite industrial feel to it, with neon-lit cogs and clockworks everywhere. Tubes and lines of bubbling liquids run criss-cross along the walls, as if purposely taking the longest, most circuitous route possible. At the bar itself, there are pulsating, glowing bottles lined up along the shelves, twisting gears spinning in wall sockets, and pots of molten gels over open flames.]
Allow me to demonstrate!
[She pulls out what looks like a measuring bowl from under the bar and rapidly pours various colored liquids from several bottles into it, making a steaming blue cocktail. Then, she picks up a complicated-looking golden lighter and spins it around before flicking it open. A bright blue flame whooshes out. With a grin, she tosses the lighter across to her other hand. The blue flames trail slowly behind, hanging in the air in an arc, before the lighter falls into the bowl and there's a bright white flash.
When the smoke clears, Haruhi is holding a simmering, bright blue drink, which is steaming in eight distinct tendrils over the rim of the cup, and there's a bright little flame submerged at the bottom of the cup, flickering. She plucks the lighter out and puts it away.]
This one is an Ordinary Becomes Extraordinary Creamy Citrus Tentacle Flame☆Pyre Ultra Spicy rum cocktail. Or an Octopus Cocktail for short! And don't worry, it tastes as good as it looks!
