Action (About an hour after morning sirens)

[The day is yet barely begun, but Retsu is out nonetheless. She usually takes the mornings to commune with Minazuki, and occasionally looks for places outside her apartment so that she can enjoy the air.

[Today is just such a day, and what better place for Minazuki than a quiet shoreline? She does notice that trick of the light, however. Her stance remains relaxed, as she senses not a threat, but a great warmth of presence. No, there is no danger here.

[She smiles softly in the direction of that trick of light.] A lovely morning on these shores, isn't it?

[A shimmering brightness dances over the waves, twinkling briefly in response to the greeting.

[She has a distinct impression of who this must be, and if she's honest with herself, she's somewhat surprised. But this places draws in mortals, the divine, and everything in between, it seems. Such a force, this Core. It's very impressive.]

So even you have been called to this place. I perhaps should not be surprised; there is much need here.

[Silence reigns for a long moment, and the light grows ever brighter -- more pure, somehow than even the rays of the run.

[And that need is part of why she has never begrudged being here. The Winter War is over, and even were it not, she knows that she will be sent back to the precise second she left. Her home is as safe as she remembers it. But this place . . . It needs people like the two of them.]

[She gives a sombre smile in response to the words on the wind.] You've no doubt brought comfort and hope to a great many here; I can only hope that I am managing to do the same as much as is within my power.
