One's free will can never be excised from them. Not entirely. Nevertheless - if you for some reason find yourself unable to lie, and if this is unacceptable to you, then simply do not speak. Do not complain about it. Do not lament your honesty. Just stay silent and cease prattling on about how this honesty makes you suffer, and you will not be compelled to honesty at all. I would think this would be a thing simple enough to grasp.

[Slight pause.]

I suppose by the fact that they are offering standard courses of language study, they are unable to replicate what happened when we first were brought here. Something of a pity, I suppose, but at the same time I must confess a degree of gladness; as useful as it would be to instantly learn a language, the very process of learning it is quite nearly as useful to an individual as the end knowledge.
