Are there any resources for newcomers under the age of 18? No one wants to give me work, even under the table, because they think I'll bring trouble. Even the folks at the food bank give me dirty looks.
It's not like I need help or anything, I'm fine! But I think it might be good to have that kinda thing cleared up. I mean, some kids are stupid. They might get picked up by creeps or worse because they're too stupid trusting. And what if they can't pay rent? The homeless shelters don't look too good.
It would really suck if you turned up here and there was no one you knew and on top of it, you couldn't find work and you have to dodge a truant officer. Just sayin'.
