Sand.
And sky again.
And always falling, in that long descent of dreams and mental instability that the laws of the universe have means of stopping. Whoever fashioned the fall has no regard for gravity.
His anger is monumental.
Within seconds he is bleeding darkness behind him, a long black trail that thickens with every fall, every pass. It slows him, doing the job of the absent forces so that, second by second, his momentum disappears despite the eternal sequence of earth and heavens. His head jerks to the side, yellow eyes watching through the blur of passing scenery and he sees.

Certain that he'll make it back to the new headquarters on his own, Xigbar turns to face the master, all smiles and cocky bravado. The Arrowguns appear in a flash, and as he brings them together, they connect, the tip of the barrel glowing as light begins to gather.

The nudge is taken in stride, the First's exit not nearly as dramatic as it needed to be. Yes, he'll be able to make it on his own - he's not horribly injured as he could have been. But there is a moment taken to see what Xigbar goes off to do before disappearing as well.
It's just like the Second to get in the last word.
A false sense of satisfaction suffices as Xemnas turns, heading deeper into the darkness. Nothing else can be said. They were done here.]
