[Hello. Siren's Port is receiving a feed that hasn't been used of late. And once it turns on, a silver-haired Nobody is shown sitting behind a desk. The room's subtle lighting creates a contrast of shadows among the First's features, enough to dramatize the setting and its subject without fully obscuring the shot

He has been forced to fight so many creatures born from darkness as of late; how was he to know he would need to prepare.
But it matters little. This...this would be enough.
Behind the light, behind the great flash that courses upward to slam into the Nobody's body, Xehanort leaps forward, Keyblade a spearpoint of black and silver amidst the brightness. His target: the center of his opponent's head, a little high, almost directly between his eyes.
After all, the heart could not be a weak point when facing an enemy that did not have one.
Such a shame, this is. You have my sincerest apologies. ]

How long is subject to debate, but even with the orders he was given, he can't simply sit in his office and wait for the inevitable. It's been too long, and after all these years, he's as tangled up in this mess as Xemnas is -- perhaps even more so, given his history. Of all the people who've arrived from their "universe", he's the only one who remembers what once was and what now is. This is as much his business as it is the others', and he won't be written off as anything less.
Even so, he hesitates. Though this confrontation may have been a forgone conclusion from the moment the fragment and the whole both found themselves in Siren's Port, it's not something he ever wanted to see. Both have plenty to recommend themselves, and one, certainly, is far more powerful than the other. He remembers well what it was like to be on the other end of that dark blade. He remembers fear. Now, he just finds it ironic that this is one time he'll benefit from not having a heart.
He waits for the right moment, and just as Master Xehanort launches himself at Xemnas, a flash of light even more brilliant than the master's attack overtakes them both. Space shifts, expanding and warping to the end he so desires. When the light clears, a perfectly circular hole lies in the sand -- a pocket of sorts that stretches towards the bottom of the sea. At a certain point, it resets, bringing those things contained within back to the very top, only to plummet again, in an endless cycle.
Portaling overhead, he can see one silver-haired individual trapped in the coils and another on the ground. Landing at Xemnas's side, Xigbar surveys the damage quickly. He'll live. ]
It won't hold him long.
[ Crouching, he moves to pull the Superior's arm over his shoulder. This one time, he's not going to listen to any protests Xemnas might make.
They're leaving. ]

It would have been quite a scene, taking a mean-looking keyblade right between the eyes. And in regards to the audience, it's so very close to crossing a line on the grand scale of violence.
But, fortunately - more or less - this attack doesn't happen. The ridiculous amount of light leads from one diversion to another, snapping the Nobody out of his sudden daze. The manipulation of space. An infinite loop.]
Xigbar- !
[As this commences and continues, the Superior's landing is rough. Collapsing to one knee, he takes a sharp breath as the Second takes over to literally support him.]
.....
[Gold eyes will say much more than he can verbally in this moment. Xigbar's plan of retreat is going to have to suffice for the time being.
After another beat, Xemnas begrudgingly averts his gaze as he nods curtly.]

He sees sand.
He sees sky.
Sand.
And sky again.
And always falling, in that long descent of dreams and mental instability that the laws of the universe have means of stopping. Whoever fashioned the fall has no regard for gravity.
His anger is monumental.
Within seconds he is bleeding darkness behind him, a long black trail that thickens with every fall, every pass. It slows him, doing the job of the absent forces so that, second by second, his momentum disappears despite the eternal sequence of earth and heavens. His head jerks to the side, yellow eyes watching through the blur of passing scenery and he sees.
Braig.
Shadows erupt outward, breaching the boundaries of the loop - So clever, always so clever - to claw and snag at the pieces of the world still stable, seeking to drag the master out. ]

Certain that he'll make it back to the new headquarters on his own, Xigbar turns to face the master, all smiles and cocky bravado. The Arrowguns appear in a flash, and as he brings them together, they connect, the tip of the barrel glowing as light begins to gather.
Seeking out Xehanort's gaze, the moment their eyes meet, he gives a little smirk. ]
No hard feelings, dude.
[ With that, he warps overhead and fires, aiming to knock him back into the paradox he's created. Whether it succeeds or not is beside the point. The ties have already been severed; he's just making it official. ]

The nudge is taken in stride, the First's exit not nearly as dramatic as it needed to be. Yes, he'll be able to make it on his own - he's not horribly injured as he could have been. But there is a moment taken to see what Xigbar goes off to do before disappearing as well.
It's just like the Second to get in the last word.
A false sense of satisfaction suffices as Xemnas turns, heading deeper into the darkness. Nothing else can be said. They were done here.]
