{Video opens up to Raul sitting at his desk in his office at Lion's Gate, and he gives an extremely faint smile. Extremely faint.]
I've realized that it has been awhile since I have been on the network; work has been keeping me busy, what with the new season approaching, and more and more people arriving, I have yet to introduce myself. My name is Raul Creed, and I am head of security for the club Lion's Gate, and I am the chairman of the Newcomer Political Party. Some of you may have heard of it already; for those who haven't, it is what it's name states it to be. We have open forum meetings at the Newcomer Community Center, and our offices are directly above in the same building.
If for some reason you have a need to contact me, you may either contact my NV, or contact the NV of my personal assistant, Mr. Franz d'Epinay. We are always looking for new workers at Lion's Gate in the security, kitchen, and bar area, and on the spot interviews are easily done.
[Pauses as he folds his hands on top of the desk.]
Onto other important news. I'm sure by now you all have read the article on the news feed about the assassination attempts on Governor Redgrave. While I was having a lovely time at this cultural Faire with my family and the rest of the Port, it seems that someone else took the time to try and kill the governor. While he may be an incompetent fool, he is still strong enough to warrant the kind of execution from those he has affronted.
It has become apparent that the days of the governor have been shortened, and only time will tell now what will become of Redgrave and his policies. [Pauses.] Governor Redgrave has become the Regent of Siren's Port. A sickly old man who has given up on the island, and as such, has given up on the inhabitants that live on it. For too long has he stood in place as little more then a figurehead, a person unwilling to stand against those who threaten, not just Newcomers, but everyone's way of existence. While the Regent may have stood by and let Romdeau fall into ruin, Redgrave is taking it one step forward, and pushing this city into a state of ruin, one where the future is just as dim as it was when the governor took office.
Much like the Regent back in Romdeau, the days are numbered where a higher standing authority will have the authority to which they are accustomed to, and as such, we, as Newcomers, now more then ever, must come together and let our voices be heard. With elections on the horizon, we will not just stand by and let the citizens of Siren's Port put us into the label of second class citizens when we offer more to them then what they offer even to themselves. It is time for us now to take a stand, and to let everyone, from the highest office of law, to the lowest one, and to the highest rungs of the companies that play with people's lives and consider themselves above the law; even to the lowest of the low, the ones who bother everyone on a daily basis and use such tactics to scare away those who might not have it in them to be able to fight.
It is time to pick those who will ally with us and send them to the places where the most work can be done; not just in favor of Newcomers, but for the benefits of everyone in the Port. It is time to find someone who no longer hears the word "Newcomer" and instantly disagrees with anything that is said because of the word associated with it.
The time is now, my fellow Newcomers; if we do not continue to rise up and demand to be heard, then all that we have done to get this far will be for naught. Another meeting of the Newcomer Political party and the rest of the Newcomer's here in Siren's Port will be held soon, and with the help of everyone, we will find the right person among the likely candidates already rising to the top of the selection for a new governor. And with those new candidates, and new offices opening, we can slip in a few of our own; no longer standing by and waiting, but moving forward with action.

I think a meeting of just the committee is in order before we have an open forum. I would like to have it done sometime next week; if you could all check your schedules, then we can all find a time for this meeting that is best suited for everyone.
