They are. If you make the cookies, you can experiment with different flavours of jam, which works well if you are learning how to cook.

Experimenting is fun; I thought cooking was going to be really difficult but it's not so hard if you follow the recipe.

That does sound really fun; my friends and I like to create our own ice cream recipes too. I guess it'd be a bit different with baking.

It is. Baking is a little different in that you have to have a little more base knowlegde before you start doing things without a recipe but it's not difficult.

You've got to be more careful with what you put in too; I put too much milk into the first batch of frosting I made and it didn't stick together right.

Buttercream icing. It said a few drops of milk, but... I think instead of dropping I poured and it was all gloopy.
