Have there been any patterns in the way it works?

In other words, can you predict when it will return people to where they belong or when it will bring new people here?

None whatsoever. Some people disappear really quickly, though usually they stay at least a month or so, I think.

And there was a pause in bringing new people here recently-- but you can't really figure it out, exactly. People do tend to pop in more towards the beginning of the month, I think I've been told.

That doesn't sound like much information to go off of though.

Almost four months, now.

Do you happen to know who has been here the longest? Has anyone discovered a "cap" as to the maximum amount of time someone can exist here?

There's some on the network who've been here well over a year. But it's been pulling people for a while before that. People just settle in. It's just more active now, I think.

It's kind of unclear. I don't know that there's much point asking questions about that.

Do you know how long this has been going on?

[voice]

[azarathmetrion]

Decades, at least. There are books of history in the library that can tell you more than I can.
