[Kanji comes half-running, half-stumbling over, nearly barreling into Souji before he catches himself. He gives an unsteady wobble as he tries to straighten up.]

[Souji had seen him begin to stumble and was half-poised to at least put his arms out--maybe not catch all 6 feet or so of Kanji. He straightened up, a concerned look on his face.]

[He gives up on standing, not-so-carefully lowering himself down to sit on the ground. It's a sort of half-fall. He rubs the back of his neck and huffs.]

Some chick, like, tranqed me. Soon as I got here. Wasn't a Shadow though. Like, she had a needle and shit. And then I just woke up in some tent and bolted, but, uhh...

[He means to say he's still dizzy. He gives an irritable shake of his head instead.]

[Souji looks slightly puzzled at that. Tranqed? When he arrived here, nothing significant happened other than a quick examination. The strange people in the blue and white uniforms hadn't done anything to him other than question him. They didn't even take his sword away.

He nodded, seeing that Kanji appeared alright, other than the aftereffects of being tranquilized. His glasses were off already.]

I have a medicine if you need one.

...I haven't seen any Shadows yet.

[Souji turns the key in the lock and opens the door to his "new" apartment. He walks inside, looking around, somewhat not expecting the apartment to be as spacious as it was.]

It really is. I was expecting much smaller.

[He stood there, placing a hand on his hip, thinking for a minute or so, then looks up into Yosuke's eyes and speaks quietly.]
