[The video comes to life suddenly, revealing a blurred picture of some open space lit by swaths of light. There's no evidence of the device trying to autofocus: the picture quality remains poor at first, giving only a glimpse of the tall figure standing in the midst of it all. That glow brightens the area for several moments. The light, pale blue and yellow and white, takes the general shape of flames but swims through the air with the fluidity of water.
Then, as quickly as it appeared with the NV turning on, it vanishes, streams of light turned to wisps and then to nothing in the blink of an eye. The video goes dark and shapeless for a minute. There's only a flicker more of the light to be seen and that spark coalesces at the center of the man's chest. It, too, disappears.
The lights of nearby buildings and streetlamps click back on. The NV focuses and the device cracks as it begins to pick up sound - the wind rustling gently and not much else. Terra stands there, transfixed. His trembling and the tears already snaking their way down his face are plainly visible. So are his blue eyes as he stares down at the NetVice.
Also, while he's not quite glowing, there's a certain brightness to his person in spite of the night's darkness.
Terra breathes out slowly, but he doesn't dare move. He looks to be torn between confusion and absolute terror.]
What do I do?
[A question he has asked before, only this time, he fears he might already have the answer. The only problem is there are so many answers, so much to know and understand and it's all just there.]
