[Okay, so she's totally here to check the place out, but she told Spike she'd meet him there to grab wings after his shift. Settling on the bar stool not long before he's due to get out, she offers a smile.]

You look miserable.

[He doesn't look too happy to see her inside, but at least it's...relatively safer than out. All he can do is sigh.]

Being a spy's hard work, huh?

At least you're on the inside. [She leans on the bar and looks up.] Cheer up. We're going out for wings when you're done.

[He opened his mouth to say something lecture-y about her being out alone, and then just snapped it shut. She was okay, and he didn't have to deal with Angel tonight. These were both good things.]

It's the only thing kept me hanging on these past five.

[aintnorain]

[She gives him a half smile, the corner of her mouth only rising out of concern and hope. He really was having a tough time.]

I know. Not everything is rainbows and sunshine here, but we'll figure it out. We always do.

There is a unicorn though, fancy that. [He was calling it. Fuck this place. He threw his towel down on the counter and moved around the bar to greet her.]

[She smiled at him and turned to watch him.] You ready? Can you leave?

[rudolphofvamps]

Can do if I bloody well want, huh. Let's beat it. [He goes to grab his jacket from wherever he hid it, gesturing 'after you' in a grandiose fashion]

[aintnorain]

[She walks ahead of him, leaving the vampire bar behind her.] This place just makes me miss Caritas.

[rudolphofvamps]

Lorne knew how to run a place, huh? This is a bloody mess.

[aintnorain]

Could be worse. Could always be worse. At least vampires aren't feeding on unwilling humans. [She grimaces. That's not really a positive.]

[rudolphofvamps]

Don't so much like how many volunteers there are, huh? It's not like Eric makes it sound--not win-win. Vampires take more than blood, feeding on a person over and over like that. It saps their will, gets them addicted.

Would be better to just kill 'em.

You can't stop people from choosin'. I don't like it. I don't think it should be in place, but it is better than feeding off of people at will.

He's making it look glamorous. [The rage isn't directed at her, certainly, but he is SO MAD. He needs something to smash :C]

I guess in his world, it's something to be desired. But we're working on it.
