So Cal Cosplay Gathering Report~
SO. This journal is kinda overdue. lol Because I was exhausted when I got back on Saturday and I kinda...uh got sick the week after due to not sleeping a lot and working my ass off at work and school. I'll probably have some stories up later from work but for right now I'm kinda just trying to crank out this journal. lol
On last Saturday, my 2 best friends and I went to the So Cal Cosplay Gathering in ____ Park. LOL I HAVE REALLY SHORT TERM MEMORY LEAVE ME ALONE. And we were Pokemon! It was like an hour drive from Glendale cause I was crashing over at Kelcie's house in the morning in my freaking purple pajamas trying to finish up the Squirtle costume. OH. Funny story about Squirtle. SO.
As you notice as soon as I start posting up the pictures. There is no Squirtle. Why? Because the person who was going to go as Squirtle dropped out....an hour before we left for the event after I busted my ass for an entire week trying to pull their costume together in my free time. :| Siren was not a happy camper. At all.
BUT YEAH BESIDE THAT ANNOYANCE IN THE MORNING. The rest of the day went by pretty well. We were stuck in the car foreeeever omigod. Julie was driving though. Not me. I was too busy napping in the back of the car with all of our shit.
Do you see all of the shit I was with in the back...lmfao.
Waaaah look at Julie being all grown up-y. She's like the youngest one in the group...lol
This is Kelcie being the navigator! * w * I was taking a nap. I was tired, okay. lol The night before I drove everyone including Blue to go see Iron Man 2 and didn't get home til midnight. Waaaaaaah. Exhausted! But Iron Man was soooo good. and RDJ is so hot. Omigoooood.

Make up shot from inside the car - A - Had like 2 palletes of eyeshadow on me. Plus the red eyeliner is actually lip liner. LOL.
MAN I AM A COOL PERSON.
Here is my outfit shot! Minus the shoes, I guess. lol The shirt was picked up from a thrift store and hand dyed along with the hat and the socks * w *. The hat was white fleece that I dyed and then sewed later on into a hat~ The spots are all dark green fleece cause felt is gross, bro. The skirt is just normal quilter's solid * A * I FELT LIKE FUCKING TINKERBELL WAAAAH. The giant pokeball is a beach ball that we painted white with acrylic. LOL. The paint like chipped away in the end cause Charmander and I played catch like fucking crazy.
Charmander is so pimp. LMFAO The sweatshirt was white and we bought it from like....Target - 3 - And then hand dyed so it'll be OBNOXIOUSLY orange. I attached the details on later - 3 - The shoes are painted. Hahaha. And the tail is the same material as my skirt and attached to her ass by an obnoxious amount of wiring.
It was a nice day!

We had a nice picnic blanket and food too~! And so....so much soda. lmfao. Eevee was so mature. lmfao She was like just chilling there talking to her boyfriend on the phone while Charmander and I went to play in the playground and roll down hills....kinda silly.

While we were up in the tree, a guy drove by in a truck and was like "CHARMANDER WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THAT TREE. YOU CAN'T FLY YET YOU DON'T HAVE WINGS" Hahahaha. What the fuck.....
Eevee's top is a deconstructed tee that we bought at Michael's. OMG HER HAT WAS SUCH A PAIN THERE WAS SO MUCH SEWING AND WIRING *SOB* But it turned out really cute so it's okay. Her shoes were painted too * 3 * and the tail was made from brown and cream fleece~ Tee hee.
So proud of that outfit the skirt she got in her closet already! She forgot her fluffy like collar thing. D: Which was kinda sad cause it was a big part of Eevee but we were really frazzled that morning so it was alright. lol UMMMMM. BUT YEAH.
