Sorry for my distance lately, all! I've been trying so hard to get a handle on the emotional turmoil and figured that keeping silent about stuff was better lately than whining publicly and upsetting people. :P

Indeed it WAS! The same Old Bethpage where Conan O'Brian went, a few seasons back, to play old-time-y baseball in an episode which I actually saw, but apparently hardly anyone who works there now did...

WOW!! I've wanted to historically reenact there for AGES. I'm a sucker for "historical interpretations" and stuff.

I think you can! Apparently people just...volunteer there all the time! I don't know what your qualifications have to be or if you have to know someone like I did, but besides the paid staff, they have regular volunteers that just do it for fun or civil service or something or other. Try looking into it! Christine is their resident costume goddess and would hook you up with stock attire and everything.

Poor you having to clean the storeness... but I guess if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself? (it's hard to find good reasons for cleaning. =P)

Oh my goodness, I envy you so much for the living history experience! I have wanted to do that for so ever long, but there is nothing around here anymore where I can even volunteer. And I'm too fat even if there were. *pokes self sadly* Envy envy envy!

hehehe I love how everyone responding to my post nerds out over the living history thingy and not one person has recognized or cared about this supposed celebrity that came into my shop! You know you're a phan when...! :DD

The tree has more leaves on it today than it did even yesterday! More bugs too...But I think we're on to something here!
