my mother, after delia called me this morning: "sarah, you should really contract your 'circle of friends'. i mean, your father and i hate going out these days. all friends do is talk about useless things to one another. do something interesting with life instead."
the next time someone asks me why i'm so terribly anti-social, i will simply invite them to look at my family environment and friend-hostile gene pool. for chrissakes.
