If every episode ends with Yumaface baring his teeth like that I'm gonna be really put off. Well, more than I already am. I think this should be my official announcement, the printed cross really is my favorite character. Yes, I do mean that almost nondescript little symbol on the score sheet that freaked out our little vampire boy in the first episode. At least it had moxy. I'm quite disappointed that Ruka seems to have recovered and doesn't break out into anything at the sight of it...
His foster mom is cute though. I do think Kato Rosa is cute, I do (and my Italian side is being biased, I know) but the foster mama is cuter to me for some reason. Maybe because her role is minor and thus less annoying. And, there's a distinct lack of cute from the Hamster Boy's little brother. He's supposed to bring in the cute factor to the Gyoza family, but I find it more in the mom than I do with him. He's just not as cute as Ryutaro, in my opinion.
Last point: I am so glad Nanami is/was doing Futatsu no Spica. If this had been her only role this summer I would have lamented a bit. But no, all's fine on that front.
