I've come to the phrase, "fuck the internet", and occasionally, "fuck you internet". The internet has currently come to be something just for people to prey on other civilians or just even companies. Every forum you go to there's someone bashing something, telling you what they think and how it’s going to affect you. Was this what the inventors

Well of course. But the people who kill themselves over what happens over facebook etc. are moody teenagers who never learn and who think that their boyfriend/girlfriend of a week was their world. yet they forget there is more outside of highschool and if they just wait they will realize how dumb they are.

Also, the internet is hostile because it's anonymous and nothing can happen to except being banned by a site for what you say. Ah well, that's the internet.

The hostility of youtube is one of the biggest things that irk me.

Give anyone a forum and a mask and they immediately spew hatred.

There have been a handful of times I had to force myself from commenting people, to call them out on their immaturity, closed-mindedness, and so on. But I know it's not worth it, and that whatever I say is merely perpetuating the problem.

Someone watches a video they know they are going to not like and then leave a nasty response. If I go and leave anything pointing this out to them, they are only getting the attention they want. Plus, changing someone's mind over the internet, especially in those situations is VERY hard to do.

People only change if they want to.

But, I have gotten into internet disputes over my own videos. Since they are mine, I feel obligated to respond. And telling someone, "Look, you vegetarian, was meat portrayed in a good way at all in my video? Ever hear of sarcasm? Ever hear of art?" ha ha
