I've come to the phrase, "fuck the internet", and occasionally, "fuck you internet". The internet has currently come to be something just for people to prey on other civilians or just even companies. Every forum you go to there's someone bashing something, telling you what they think and how it’s going to affect you. Was this what the inventors of the World Wide Web envisioned for the future of their invention? No longer is it just an extraordinarily fast way to obtain knowledge but it’s a place for bullies to detach themselves from everything, for complete, or rather almost complete, anonymity. This ambiguity people feel creates multiple strings of threatening environments, whether it’s going to a Youtube video that is obviously geared toward a small niche of people, reading a review of a simple piece of electronics, or looking at basically anything anyone can comment on. It’s an increasingly hostile environment. The ambiguity of the internet creates situations that spiral out of control. I’ve heard stories of people literally killing themselves over what is said on Myspace, Facebook, or Youtube.
The Internet is Fucked up now.
Yeah, anyway, Fuck you internet, fuck you, and your little dog too.
