Title: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea
Author: Jules Verne
Book: 19/20
Comments: To keep up my brief nautical theme, and because it was a weekend and I was sick of doing school, I read this. I liked it very much. Verne had an amazing imagination for never having traveled, especially for the deep sea. And after having a class last year that was half geosci, I do know a little about the topography of the ocean and whatnot. That being said, this book was very amusing when it came to parts like Atlantis and the South Pole. But otherwise, it was pretty real. And it wasn't just some emotionless travel account or science book, although it was a professor narrating it. It had a ton of emotion and feeling. Let me suffice to say it wasn't just some laid back vacation under the sea. I approve.
