New Computer + Alcohol?
So basically, my new computer is arriving on Tuesday. I have my desk, my chair, my chair mat, my speakers... and everything else is Tuesday.

Nvidia 6600gt video 256mb
1 gb ddr + 512 ddr ram
250gb sata II enh hdd
16x 4x dual dvdrw
flp, keybrd,
19" high def monitor
MSI plat 939 brd, dual raid etc,
3500+ 939 AMD Dual-Core cpu
Coming, taxes included, to $1,722.70 ($1498.00 before taxes), within my 1600-1800 I was projecting. I'm especially looking forward to the monitor... it'll definitely big a nice one. LCD, 4ms refresh and, to my surprise, also high definition (I guess prices came down, so I got the high definition monitor for the same price I would've paid for the regular 19")
Definitely will do me quite well. It's also nice that I have something that I can improve/upgrade later, as Puterbook's pretty much as-is. Definitely still viable, and definitely will still be used for whenever I'm going anywhere... but, man, it's gonna be nice to have a brand new computer, MADE for games.
Also, I made my first liquor purchase today. Dad told me to get him some Captain Morgan, so I decided I'd buy myself something too. I figured vodka was a good choice, seeing as
a) I like it
b) It won't go bad if I don't use it for awhile.
And, it appears after setting up my chair, that's it's broken. GAYDAR.
