Real men use charcoal.
I should preface this post with: I have the coolest family ever.
This coming weekend I am hosting a BBQ for all of the neighbors around my apartment complex. The difficult part of this however, has been that I've got *A LOT* of junk that has accumulated through several moves over the last few years. Some of this stuff inlcludes a very old couch, my old grill (which has had nothing but problems when I got it), a broken cabinet and so on...
With a lot of this stuff - it had taken over the apartment and I needed to clean out all of this stuff to make room for the people I was about to have over.
So yesterday I took the day off, and my sis came by with her huge pickup truck so that we could get rid of this stuff. Stuff dumped, we then hit home depot for a replacement grill. This is what I ended up getting.
Got home, unpacked it, and began to assemble. She even stuck around for assisting me with putting it together. As opposed to my old propane grill which took 3 hours to assemble with barely understandable instructions - we got this put together in about an hour. The instructions and diagrams were understandable - and it wasn't difficult at all to figure out how things pieced together.
A couple of hours later I was eating steak once again on my new grill. I'm also thinking that as a rule, I like cooking with charcoal better. Anyways, I am now all ready to host a party this weekend.
