I'm at work right now. Basically the same thankless job I've had since 2004. I was given a token promotion/miniscule raise last summer. Haven't saved any money. Hoping to change that soon.
Found a bunch of Pre-Sentencing Reports that were supposed to be delivered to Adult Probation several days ago. I've been sober all week so I can't blame this one on booze. I just straight up forgot to do it. Worked through part of lunch to run them over to the APD In Basket. Sorry, guys!
Staff mtg after lunch. My supervisor, a misogynist who once tossed puppies in a garbage bin & somehow got away with it, is going to talk to us about being better. Times like that I start thinking about improving my upper body strength so I can toss him in a garbage bin when I quit.
The quality of trainees lately has been a crapshoot. The one last summer was amazing, so of course she transfered out. I was then tasked with trying to make something of a blonde paperweight with eyes. I washed my hands of her after answering the same questions for 3 months. Taking a break this week. Fresh meat on Monday.
Ok. I have time to meditate for 20 minutes before I am buried alive under forms from the Attorney General.
